Reduce aerosols with the concurrent use of a DryShield mouthpiece and a Nu-Bird Suction Mirror

This is another example of using two HVE sources to reduce aerosols.  In this case, it’s the DryShield mouthpiece (connected to the Kona Adapter DS) and a Nu-Bird Suction Mirror.  It’s obviously impossible to completely eliminate aerosols in the dental environment, but I think it’s possible to reduce them significantly.  And in my option, using two HVE sources is the only way to do it.  Stay tuned for more examples in future blog posts.  If you have any questions or comments please share.  Thank you.

  1. Hi Mark.
thanks for all you do in the world of RDH to educate us.
I am giving a webinar on Thursday for Hu-Friedy on the topic of AGD and RDH.
Is it ok if I post images from your videos on Dry-Shield/Nu-Bird and Isolite/Wide HVE? I will reference your website.
    Thanks!
    KAREN
