Great video! Which of the Gold Edge stones do you find you use the most (medium or fine)? Thanks!

Hi Mark,
Great review of solutions to an age-old instrument challenge. After seeing the results of Lory Laughter’s sharpening study (our Best Efforts, April, 2015 RDH magazine) there is little doubt that none of us are ace sharpeners. Since switching my instruments to sharpen-free XP Technology I can relax and know that I am always working with a sharp, correctly angled working blade. It is a world of difference and I can hardly imagine life without the great access of a thin XP! I hope every hygienist will have the chance to use sharpen-free XP technology and experience the difference they make for us as practitioners and our patients. Thanks Mark!
I agree Karen. XP instruments work extremely well and not having to sharpen them is beyond cool. Plus, you’re working with the ideal cutting edge created at the factory for the life of the instrument. It doesn’t get better than that : ).
