    Thanks for your review. Since the PDT tip is no longer available and all I need to do what other tips would you recommend? Would you recommend any other portable ultrasonic scalers? If so, which and why? Thanks!

    • Hi Lynn,

      I also like Parkell’s piezo tips too. Personally, I prefer magnetostrictive. I use the Parkell Integra scaler with the Parkell Burnett Power Tip, which is great IMO. Mark

  2. Thanks for you review! Are you aware of a product made by uniharpa, which is sometimes described as sonic and/or ultrasonic scaler. It has no water flow, and is only handheld battery operated. I’m wondering if it’s essentially the same as a piezo or cavitron scaler only excluding the water spray.
