You can easily use the eBite Plus bite block and tongue retractor combo without having the actual eBite Plus System.  All you need is a Blue Boa (version designed for the hygoformic saliva ejector) and a hygoformic saliva ejector that you can cut into 1/2″ to 1″ pieces.  Overall performance is decent.  I would give retraction performance and comfort a good rating, but I would give the suction performance only a fair rating.  One of the nice features about the eBite Plus products is that they are autoclavable, which is a big plus for many users.  The overall performance does not compare to the Isolite or Izolation products, but it is a decent low cost alternative.

Cut a small piece of the hygoformic saliva ejector and stick into the Blue Boa. The diameter of the hygoformic saliva ejector fits perfectly into the eBite Plus bite block.

You can see the two suction holes. No matter how you connect to the HVE system only one suction port can be active at any one time.

Blue Boa connects to the bite block well and is very light, which helps a lot.
