Pros
1. Very adjustable. Can be placed in different areas of the mouth and can be uncoiled to place it in the best location for the most effective suction.
2. Coil design allows suction without sucking tissue. Great feature.
3. Thin and unobstrustive.
Cons
1. Must use adapter (comes with purchase) to connect to existing saliva ejector valve.
2. Coil guards tongue, but does not retract tongue. Very strong or wild tongues will get around it.

Connecting the hygoformic saliva ejector to the HVE valve with the Blue Boa. Stay tuned for a full review of the Blue Boa.

Have you done a review on the blue boa? I just saw that you wrote on one of the above photos to stay tuned for a review on the blue boa but I don’t see it. I am interested on your thoughts on the blue boa. I am currently trying to decide between the blue boa and featherflex HVE. It seems like one of the main differences between the two is one is autoclavible and one is not but if you have any experience with comparing the two I would appreciate your feedback.
Hi Amy,
I’m doing the Blue Boa review in the next 2-3 weeks. Bottom line, the Blue Boa is a very good product and much better than the featherflex. I’ve used both.
The blue boa is an RDH must!!!! Love it!
