Summary

Parkell’s Gentle Clean ultrasonic insert is designed to provide a gentle ultrasonic cleaning for sensitive patients.  Does it work?  I’ve had this insert sitting on the shelf for many months, but finally used it for the first time on a patient last week.  My initial impression is this.  The cleaning power was pretty mediocre and the disposable tip is very thick, which made it difficult to insert it sub-g.  So far, I don’t like it very much, but to be fair I’ve only used it once.  Stay tuned for a full review in the near future.

Disposable tips come in a 50 pack.  Insert comes with a wrench to remove these tips.
