Some have asked where I got the name “Kona” for my product.  In 1997 I got a rottweiler puppy and wanted to name her something that was related to bicycling.  I ended up choosing Kona, which is a bicycle manufacturer.  My rottweiler passed away in 2009.  In 2010 I needed a name for my new product, so I decided to name it after her.  I like the name and it’s easy for customers to spell and remember : ).
