ContacEZ Hygienist Strips. Remove stubborn stain and calculus from tight contacts.

I’ve had these ContacEZ Hygienist Strips for a few months now and so far so good.  They remove stain and light calculus from those tight, interproximal contact areas pretty well.  They work well for anterior teeth, but not practical for posterior teeth in my opinion.  So the question is, do I need these things even if I have a nice sharp sickle scaler in my hands?  Maybe.  I’ve only felt the need to use these strips 3 times in the last 4 months, so I guess you can argue yes or no.  Even if you rarely use them, it wouldn’t hurt to have them in your toolbox just in case.  The ContacEZ Hygienist Strips come in a 8-pack for about $50 and are autocalvable, so one pack will last you a very long time at the use rate I’m on!

  1. I will get a package of these strips. There are times that these will be useful. They are similar to finishing strips. I like that they are autoclavable. Thanks for the review Mark!

  2. Thanks for the review! I was not familiar with this product! The company does offer a single sample sent out- through their website.
